THE TACTICAL DEFENSIVE SHOOTING II COURSE IS A PREREQUISITE FOR THIS COURSE.
TACTICAL DEFENSIVE SHOOTING 3 IS ABOUT PUTTING THE SHOOTER AND THEIR GEAR TO THE ULTIMATE TEST. EACH TRAINEE WILL APPLY THE FUNDAMENTALS OF DEFENSIVE SHOOTING AND DRAWING FROM THE HOLSTER IN A REAL WORLD THREAT RESPONSE ENGAGEMENT DRILL WITH THEIR SELECTED CARRY GUN. SHOOTING WILL TAKE PLACE DOWN RANGE ON OUR LIVE FIRE SHOOTING RANGE.
AS DISCUSSED IN OUR USE OF FORCE 101 CLASS, SHOOTING IS NOT ALWAYS THE ONLY OPTION, BUT WHEN A LIFE AND DEATH SITUATION WHERE SHOOTING IS THE ONLY OPTION PRESENTS ITSELF; YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE THE ADVANTAGE OF SKILL AND CONFIDENCE IN YOURSELF AND YOUR CARRY GEAR. GAIN CONFIDENCE BY PUTTING YOURSELF TO THE TEST IN THIS PRACTICAL AND DYNAMIC PROGRAM, WHICH INCLUDES REACTIVE SHOOTING DRILLS, A LOW LIGHT SHOOTING EXPERIENCE, AND CLOSE QUARTER SHOOTING SITUATIONS.

LECTURE:
Range safety brief
Advance Intuitive Focus Shooting techniques.
LIVE FIRE EXERCISE:
NOTE: All live fire practice takes place in front of the shooting line and down range as a class at times.
Practice the Advance Intuitive Focus Style of shooting from 5 to 10 yards developed in TDS-1 & TDS-2
Practice drawing from the holster with & without concealment
Practice quick reaction shooting at extremely close quarters and with moving threats
Utilize the Use of Force tactics developed in TDS1 & TDS2
Complete a GO or *NO GO Practical Exercise Obstacle Course. NO GO students will not receive a completion EDC Survival Course certificate and need to take TDS-3 again at a later date. *We all start our training at different levels, but Threat Dynamics will only graduate a student out of this course once they demonstrate their ability to handle a hand gun safely, shoot with accuracy and good judgment. A high level of Instruction is highly advised before taking this EDC Course. Private instruction is available by appointment 7 days a week from one of our Instructors to prepare you for this course.

Your Conceal Carry pistol (please bring whatever pistol you actually plan to conceal with)
Your Conceal Carry Holster and a garment to conceal with
Conceal Carry Belt
Conceal carry flash light
2 mags (Minimum)
Purchase 150 rounds of practice ammunition at check-in from TD
Targets will be provided
