Concealed Carry Permits
Q: What is the process to get my Concealed Carry Permit? OR/ UT & AZ
A: 1) The first step to get your concealed carry permit is to go through the required training class. We teach this class 3 to 4 times per month for the Oregon, Utah & Arizona permits, the class is about 3 ½ hours long. More Info>>>
2) After the class, for OR you will make an appointment with the County Sheriff Department of the county you live in and they will have you fill out a application and take your fingerprints on site. The cost for the background checks for OR is $65.
For UT & AZ you we will provide you with all the necessary paperwork and give the instructions on how to fill it out. We will also take you fingerprints and a passport photo of you on site to send to UT &/or AZ.
3) Send out your paper work to UT or AZ with a check for $65 to UT or $60 to AZ.
4) Wait about 6 weeks for your permit to come in the mail.
Threat Dynamics Training
Q: What is the Immersive Tactical Shooting Package?
A: The Immersive Tactical Shoot (I.T.S.) Package (Our most popular option, best with 2 or more people)
Each shooter gets:
2 Ranges in the Threat Alley and Threat Arena (including speed round challenge)
2 Scenarios in the Threat Alley and Threat Arena
= over 200 rounds for each shooter (between the range and scenarios).
This a fun and exciting way to try out the whole facility and its offerings! Discounted rates for groups 5 or more. $50 per person. Please contact us for group rates or to schedule an I.T.S. Shoot today at 503 692-2992.
Also available – Mini I.T.S.
Same set up as full ITS (ranges and scenarios), but only on the Threat Alley. $25 per person.
Q: Is there an age limit to use the facility?
A: There is No age limit to shoot at our facility. We ask that youth shooters do have some form of firearms safety training, if not we do offer a Youth Firearms Safety class by appointment.
*Warning for Youths – Our scenarios do use graphic violence and bad language.
Q: Do I need to make an appointment to use the facility?
A: Yes, use of facility is by appointment only. To make an appointment please call 503-692-2992
Q: How do I register for a class?
A: All class registrations are done over the phone. 503-692-2992
Q: When can I shoot?
A: Appointments can be made Monday through Saturday 10am to 7pm depending on availability.
Q: How do the Ranges work?
A: Each Range is about 50 shoots (a standard box of ammo) and lasts about 8 minutes. We can accommodate up 5 shooters at one time. Each Range is scored by shot placement. There are over 180 Ranges to choose from.
Q: Why should I shoot Virtual?
A: Virtual training has been used by the military and law enforcement for the last 15 years because of the low cost and safety factors. Without those two elements you can now do more with your guns than ever before. Shooting at things like interactive targets and scenarios based situations. You can also now work on things like drawing from the holster, moving and shooting. From a learning stand point this is a great low impact way to get introduced to shooting and also to get the much needed trigger time without the cost of ammo. Not to mention, where else are you going to find out how well you really do in a self-defense situation other than the hard way?
Q: How long does the Immersive Tactical Shooting Package last?
A: The ITS package takes about 45 minutes to an hour for a group of 2 to 5 persons to go through. More info>>>

Q: Can I special Order firearms from Threat Dynamics?
A: Yes. We also have Glock, S&W, Taurus, Sigs, Diamondback, AR-15s, pistols and more in stock.
Q: What do you charge for Firearms Transfers?
A: $30 and the OR background check is included in the price.
